Ken Turek is a Proud Graduate and Faculty Member of the Trial Lawyer College
Note from Ken Turek: “Twenty years ago, at the height of Gerry Spence’s career as a famously successful civil and criminal trial lawyer, he started a non-profit college for lawyers who represent the common person: the injured and the accused. Every August and September American attorneys who are accepted attend the intensive three week course held on Thunderhead Ranch, located 20 miles outside of Dubois in a stunning setting in picturesque Wyoming. Corporate and government lawyers are not invited. Faculty trial lawyers from across the country work with various experts to help the students grow as persons and lawyers, to better represent people. Attending in 1998 was one of the most rewarding experiences of my legal career and the people I am lucky to work with every year—old and new friends—are some of the most dedicated and talented persons, and lawyers, in America.”
